Williamsburg records 11 deeds in four weeks, but most sale prices go unstated

Eleven deeds were recorded for Williamsburg properties between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only four disclosed a sale price. Those four ranged from $26,000 to $290,000, with a median of $100,000. The period's top transaction was a $290,000 sale of a condominium unit at 10 North Main St., Unit 2, from Arthur Scott to Deborah Lyons. Five of the 11 recorded transfers involved a bank as buyer or seller, and none of those disclosed a price. North Main Street saw three separate recordings, more than any other street. With most transfers lacking a disclosed price, the recorded data shows notable volume but limited visibility into what buyers actually paid.
