Williamsburg Conservation Commission approved highway maintenance order for DPW operations. The commission unanimously approved an order of conditions for routine highway maintenance in wetland areas, establishing a streamlined framework requiring notification, site visits, pre-construction erosion-control confirmation, and post-construction inspection approval. Angela Panaccione presented the notice of intent (DEP No. 342-0156), and Dan Banister of the Department of Public Works confirmed the framework would benefit highway operations.
The Commission also issued a Negative 2 Determination for invasive species management at 18 Williams Street and ratified an emergency certification for erosion correction at the Mountain Street Dam Spillway.
