WILLIAMSBURG — Committee postponed library planting to spring, pursuing fall alternatives instead. Eva Wetzel and Tom Bodo reported on library discussions, and members identified backup planting sites at North Main, Village Hill, and near Haydenville's church, targeting October 17 and 18. Lily Carone reported the Arthur King Fund had earmarked flood tree funding and the committee discussed establishing a donation account.
The committee also began planning a Smith College Greenway Lab tree inventory project, reviewing inventory templates including diameter at breast height, genus, species, health, age, and proximity notes for student work in Williamsburg and Haydenville.
