Select Board approves mill river greenway land taking, south main street wetlands filing.

Williamsburg Select Board unanimously adopts Order of Taking for Mill River Greenway project. The board voted to acquire land at 31–35 Main Street by eminent domain, completing a process initiated at a November 2025 Special Town Meeting, and signed a Wetlands Protection Act Form 3 for South Main Street construction, which requires Conservation Commission approval. The board also authorized a $22,715.03 reimbursement to consultant JM Goldson for planning services and approved the Energy Committee's application to National Grid's no-cost Fleet Advisory Services Program to support the town's transition to electric vehicles and climate leadership goals.
