WILLIAMSBURG — Planning Board began preliminary research into floodplain and solar bylaw updates. The board assigned members to investigate recent 2025 state floodplain map changes and battery storage provisions in solar installations, with reference materials from Chesterfield's existing battery-related solar update. Members also discussed Massachusetts Ballot Question 7, which would allow single-family homes by right, and its potential local impacts given sewer-processing limits, assigning outreach to the town administrator and water-sewer commissioner.
The board unanimously approved prior meeting minutes with a vote of 5-0. A DLTA grant may fund the bylaw updates.
