Planning Board · Meeting of April 27, 2026

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Planning Board held a public hearing on proposed Accessory Dwelling Unit zoning changes designed to align local code with Massachusetts Chapter 150, Sections 7 and 8 of the 2024 Acts. The amendments clarify parking requirements and address non-conforming lot situations. Chair Steve Smith indicated he would consult the town lawyer regarding whether separate warrants will be needed for sections 9.1 and 9.2 at town meeting.

The public hearing closed at 6:15 pm following motions by member Podge Thomas, seconded by member Tariq Abu-Jaber. The proposed changes will return to the town lawyer before proceeding further.
