Nine Williamsburg deeds recorded in June and July, no prices disclosed

WILLIAMSBURG -- Nine transactions were recorded at the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds for Williamsburg properties between June 19 and July 18, but none of the filings disclosed a sale price, leaving the town's June-July property market impossible to gauge in dollar terms from this dataset alone.

The registry recorded nine Williamsburg transactions in the period. All nine list "price not disclosed," so no price range or median sale price can be calculated for this month. Activity by raw count was moderate, but because pricing is absent across the board, the data cannot support a characterization of the market as active or quiet in valuation terms. Petticoat Hill Road saw two separate filings in the period: a homestead declaration at No. 4, recorded July 15, and a transfer from the town to Francis Gallo at No. 3, recorded June 25. Main Street also appears twice, though with differing address formats: 3 North Main St. was conveyed from Greenfield Savings Bank to Koh and Nichols on July 13, while a property listed as 3 N. Main St. was conveyed from Nichols and Koh to the Town of Williamsburg on June 24. The deed data does not specify whether these two filings involve the same parcel. The remaining transfers -- Village Hill Road, South Street, Goshen Road and Grove Street -- each appear once in the dataset.
