Conservation Commission ratifies enforcement order at 79 South Street

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Conservation Commission ratified an enforcement order issued December 16th against unauthorized timber harvesting at 79 South Street. Conservation Agent Kelly Kowal reported that contractor Lashway Logging had halted cutting after a state stop work order; the enforcement order directed property owners to nominate a wetlands scientist. Commissioners Joe Rogers, Melinda McCall, and Jim Ayres unanimously approved ratification.

The Commission scheduled a site visit to the property for January 10th and discussed pending solar and road projects requiring review.
