Williamsburg library board elected its officers and reported strong financial footing from a bequest and large donation. Charlotte Meryman was elected Chair, Joan Coryat Vice Chair, Ken Borden Treasurer, and Sara Barry Secretary. Director Beverly Bullock reported the library is scheduled to host Porch Fest activities on September 11, with the Grounds Planning Committee beginning work on August 18.

The board identified grounds maintenance as urgent, noting the absence of a dedicated groundskeeper has caused weed proliferation, and discussed hiring someone for a few hours weekly. Financial reports passed unanimously.
