Board of Library Trustees approves FY27 budget increases and Haydenville inspection.

WILLIAMSBURG — Board of Library Trustees approves three FY27 budget increases totaling $3,689 in new wages and materials. The board unanimously authorized hourly increases for the bookkeeper and cleaner at $2 per hour each and the Tech Services librarian at $1.17 per hour, with a separate unanimous vote to raise the materials budget to $15,764. Chair Joan Coryat and Director Beverly Bullock were also unanimously authorized to contract with JMR Inspections for an initial assessment of the Haydenville Library branch.
The board received notice of a grant from Florence Savings Bank, amount to be announced in May, and learned that four Cultural Council Grants have been approved.
