Williamsburg Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved May financial reports, accepting a $77,997 bequest from the Estate of Jean York for the Greta Carey Fund. Director Beverly Bullock's contract, previously approved by the Select Board, includes a 5 percent salary increase and planned cost-of-living adjustment. The town will begin covering snow and ice removal and HVAC maintenance expenses.

May marked the first month with zero program income. The board noted the current strategic plan is ending and will address priorities in July. The Friends of Meekins Library reported twelve new brick orders and prepared for a June 27 book sale from 10 a.m. to noon.
